It’s hard to believe St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner. Aiden and I have been experimenting with smoothies recently and we created this green smoothie that is perfect for St. Patrick’s Day. Smoothies are great for toddlers (especially picky ones) because they are so healthy but still tastes great. This particular St Patricks Day smoothie has a ton of spinach in it which is perfect because spinach is not Aiden’s favorite so I love that I can sneak some in his diet. Plus, spinach is great for me as a pregnant mama too.

If you are interested in getting started with cooking with your toddler a smoothie is a great place to start. The prep time is minimal and your little one can do just about all the work. Smoothies don’t take a lot of time to make so you get the benefits of practicing measuring and eye-hand coordination without having to worry about short attention spans.
