I will be honest, before becoming pregnant with Aiden my level of understanding about how reproduction works was limited to whatever I learned in high school. Looking back on that now, I am not entirely sure how accurate that was. I wouldn’t say Aiden was unplanned, but he was a bit of a surprise. Who knew that you could actually fairly accurately plan a pregnancy? Making the decision of going from one to two babies is huge, and now that we are considering baby number 2, I am really looking forward to planning this time with the new Clearblue® Connected Ovulation Test System.

The reason I want to plan for my pregnancy with baby number 2 this time around is because I work full-time. I know it’s not the most popular opinion that you plan a pregnancy around your job schedule, but I love my job and it has a natural ebb and flow, so there are more ideal times for me to be out, so if I can, why not plan my pregnancy for that time? I feel like I am getting the best of both worlds. I can build my family without getting too far behind doing the work I love.

The new Clearblue® Connected Ovulation Test System is great because when it comes to tracking a woman’s fertility, all cycles are different. The new Clearblue® Connected Ovulation Test System accurately identifies personal fertile days using a woman’s hormone data – instead of guessing from a standardized algorithm.

The product is so simple to set up. It connects to the app and your phone with Bluetooth and takes seconds to connect once you’ve downloaded the app and created an account. Once the app is connected to your holder, you answer a few questions and it is ready to use. This new ovulation system allows women to understand and take control of their reproductive health by connecting them directly to their personal fertility information on their smartphone. By tracking two key fertility hormones, the Clearblue® Connected Ovulation Test System typically identifies four or more best days to get pregnant, two more days than any other ovulation brand on the market[2]. The new Clearblue® Connected Ovulation gives women more flexibility and identifies more opportunities to get pregnant.

Hi, I’m Melissa! I am a mama to an energetic toddler, a wife to my amazing husband Dan, and I work full-time as a meeting planner. I started this blog because, after having my little guy, I quickly learned that exhaustion and baby brain causes you to forget some of the amazing (sometimes horrible and sometimes wonderful) details related to the first several months of raising a baby. Considering we may have more kids in the future, I want to document everything we do, so we remember what worked the first time around, and hopefully help other first time mamas along the way!
