Happy Eleven Months: Aiden’s Monthly Update

Aiden is inquisitive and on-the-move this month. He doesn’t miss a thing (especially if food is involved).  Here is Aiden’s 11-months update.

We have a squiggly wiggly little guy who is more mobile than ever. He is easily pulling himself up on anything. One of his favorite things to do is to walk with his sit-and-stand cart to our mailbox and around our townhouse complex. He is also crawling, but he prefers to walk.

He still loves people and now that he knows how to wave, he gets the biggest kick out of waving to everyone we pass. He also learned how to point  so he points to objects and directions. It’s a lot of fun to have this new communication tool!

One of his favorite things to do is dance, play his musical toys and sing. He has three dance moves that he does all the time. He definitely beats to his own drum 🙂

He has a ton of hair, but it’s so blonde it’s hard to see. He still doesn’t have teeth but that doesn’t stop him from eating anything and everything off our plates. He tried crabcakes for the first time this month and loved them.

This month, Aiden had a ton of fun with all the fall activities. He loved apple picking, sitting in pumpkins (yep, you read that correctly) and hayrides. He is excited to be a minion for Halloween (or at least I am excited).

I can’t believe that in one month my baby will be a year old! Where did the year go!?

Read Aiden’s past monthly updates: ten months, nine months, eight months, seven months, six months, five months, four months, three months, two months, one month.

Hi, I’m Melissa! I am a mama to an energetic preschooler and newborn, a wife to my amazing husband Dan, and I work full-time as a meeting planner. I started this blog because, after having my first little guy, I quickly learned that exhaustion and baby brain causes you to forget some of the amazing (sometimes horrible and sometimes wonderful) details related to the first several months of raising a baby. Realizing that we would probably have more kids in the future, I wanted to document everything, so we would remember what worked the first time around, and hopefully help other first time mamas along the way!
