If you follow me on this blog or Instagram you have probably noticed my love for baby fashion and dressing Aiden. It is one of my favorite things about having a baby (besides the snuggles). I know I have said it before, but I love shopping from small mama owned businesses. It is so satisfying to know that you are helping another mama live her dream. You know that every sale really means something and your baby will always be wearing something unique! I have made some incredible relationships with some of my favorite small shop owners which made me think I should share the love and introduce you to them! I am starting a new series each month where I will spotlight one of my favorite small shops. Up first, River Babe Threads.
Disclousure: I received two t-shirts (one for Aiden and one for me), a beanie and joggers from River Babe Threads at no cost as a thank you for writing this post. I bought everything else and purchased from the company before receiving free items. This is a company I truly love and hope you will too! Thank you for supporting the brands that support this blog.
River Babe Threads is located in Michigan. The only way to describe their clothes and accessories is hip and cool. This shop is my go-to for slouchy beanies, t-shirts, and joggers for Aiden. I love the combination of style and attitude the clothes have and that you can make many outfits out of a few pieces. Also, many of the clothes could be worn by both girls and boys. I love this Punisher Panda tee, Wild Life tee, and Lumberjack Joggers. Sidenote: how old does Aiden look in these outfits!? They have clothes ranging from newborn size to youth small and medium for some items.
Of course with Dan being a police officer I HAD to get the Dad’s Partner in Crime tee.
This shop really has everything. You can accessorize your outfits with hats, suspenders, sunnies, and even Baltic Amber jewelry for teething babies! You can check out my thoughts on Baltic Amber on my teething post here (spoiler — we are fans).
River Babe Threads also has clothes for adults. I first found this shop when I was buying a birthday gift for Dan and I stumbled across the “Dad Life” tee which Dan wears all the time. Everything is well-made (in Michigan) and the tees are really soft. I have this “Mom Life” raglan. I love the sleeves and the gold letters. The fabric feels amazing! It’s also a great shop to get gifts like this “Aunt Life” sweatshirt.
If you aren’t totally sold on River Babe Threads already, they are graciously offering Baby Castan on Board readers 15% off sales on their website with the promo code “BABYCASTAN”. I hope you will check them out and love them as much as I do! Don’t forget to check out their cute Valentine’s Day tees!
