Oh my goodness, I am exhausted. This week was craziness. Between everything I am taking on at work plus lots of blog improvements I am looking forward to an early night tonight and hopefully a chill weekend.

Here are my Friday favorites for the first week of March
The Mama Notes: Yesterday was International Women’s Day. There were tons of great articles and reads about strong women. It is such an inspiring day. In particular, I loved this post from The Mama Notes on six quotes to inspire you on International Women’s Day. It’s so simple but powerful and something I bookmarked to look back on some of those tougher days.
Old Navy: Old Navy is having a big clearance sale this weekend on toddler clothes. Of course, I had to stock up. I bought these cute skinny pop khakis (perfect for Easter with this cute carrot button up), these poplin joggers, and this adorable utility jacket.
Fresh Mommy Blog: I love butternut squash soup, but I only ever get it when I go out. I found this amazing recipe on the Fresh Mommy Blog. I can’t wait to try it this weekend! I am not big on dairy these days so the vegan/dairy free aspect is appealing to me!
Red Barn Collective: I found this amazing Etsy shop this week. I am in the market for a mother’s helper because Aiden loves to help cook and this shop has a gorgeous one! They also have great rustic wood toys and home decor. I don’t know if I will end up getting this mother’s helper just because I think we might try to make one. However, I am already adding some of the toys to the little guy’s birthday/Christmas list!
Netflix Binge: Jessica Jones is back on Netflix! Does anyone else watch it? It has been two years and I am so happy it’s back on. I am not crazy about superheroes, but I really like the Marvel shows on Netflix especially Jessica Jones and Daredevil. It’s something Dan and I watch together so I have only seen one episode so far, but I am sure we will make a good dent by next week.
