Thank you to Basic Invite for sponsoring this post!
I have always been a bit of a paper freak. From fun card stock to stationary, I have drawers full of it! I recently learned about Basic Invite and the paper nerd in me got really excited. There are tons of amazing options and everything is customizable so it is perfect for busy moms. Basic Invite sent me some samples to try out the quality and I am excited to share this Basic Invite review with you.
Basic Invite is a one-stop shop for cards and stationery. There are many different categories of cards available from birth announcements and baptism invitations to wedding stationery and graduation announcements, just to name a few. However, as an added benefit, all the cards are totally customizable which is great. I love that I don’t have to shop around several websites to find what I am looking for.
I love the layouts of the tri fold graduation announcements and graduation party invitations, but even though we aren’t in that stage of life, I was easily able to customize cards to fit my own needs. I made a few with photos and some without. In addition to the photos and wording, it was also very easy to customize the colors. Basic Invite has almost unlimited colors so you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options to make sure the card is exactly how you want it.
Basic Invite allows customers to order custom samples. This is great to get an idea of exactly what the card will look like in print. For the samples, I made a lot of thank you cards and thinking-of-you cards because those are what we use the most. It is important to me to teach Aiden to handwrite thank you cards for gifts. Many of my friends are out of state so I love dropping them a little note from time to time.
I created a few cards from some of Aiden’s newborn photos. I don’t know about you, but we had tons of family drop things by and these would be perfect to send a quick thank you note. They would also be beautiful birth announcement cards. The photo quality is excellent.
Aiden and I had a ton of fun writing out his Christmas thank you notes (better late than never right?)
