Homemade Healthy Fruitsicles for Toddlers

I am so excited for the holiday weekend. While I recognize the reason for the holiday and truly appreciate the sacrifice those who died while serving in the country’s armed forces made, it is still the official kick-off of summer for me. What is more perfect in the summer months than a cold popsicle? We have three recipes for healthy, but still delicious fruitsicles which are far better for toddlers (and parents too)!

My husband is the chef in the family so I asked him to come up with a few recipes for possible fruitsicles and I have to say he did an amazing job.ย  We always like to feed Aiden things that are more complex in flavor so he did a strawberry/blueberry/basil/acai, apple/mango/rosemary, and orange/peach/plum/vanilla. You can find the recipes below.

Aiden loved them and I loved them too! They are super simple to make — you probably have all the ingredients at home. The only other things we needed were a blender and a Nuby Garden Fresh Fruitsicle Tray.

Disclosure: I received the Nuby Garden Fresh Fruitsicle Tray from Nuby at no cost in exchange for my honest review. Affiliate links are included, which means if you make a purchase I may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. I only write about products I love. Thank you for supporting the brands that support this blog.

The Nuby Garden Fresh Fruitsicle Tray is a freeze and feed popsicle mold. It turns fresh fruit puree or even juice into popsicles. There are four molds that hold about 1 fluid ounce each. I love that the “sticks” are reusable and the perfect size for small hands and the base is wide and curved to help reduce dripping. This is especially helpful when your toddler gets distracted and forgets to eat for a second! They are BPA free so totally safe for a toddler to eat off of.ย  They are available on Amazon so if you have Amazon Prime they can be yours in two days with free shipping!

About Melissa

Hi, Iโ€™m Melissa! I am a mama to my baby Aiden Milo (born November 2015), and a police wife to my husband Dan. I started this blog because, after having Aiden, I quickly learned that exhaustion and baby brain causes you to forget some of the er-lovely (sometimes horrible and sometimes wonderful) details related to the first several months of raising a baby. Considering we may have more kids in the future, I want to document everything we do, so we remember what worked the first time around, and hopefully help other first time mamas along the way!

Would absolutely love to try these out. I’ve seen some healthy option recipes online that I could use in place of buying all the sugary popsicles with all the dye in the grocery store. Plus my girls could help with the preparation and we could have a teaching lesson in the process. Thank you so the opportunity. (@sahmof3girls)
