Don’t Miss a Moment with Milestone Cards

I am such a memory freak. I want to celebrate and remember all the moments with Aiden that make us smile (which are SO many). That is why I love Milestone Cards by Milestone Baby.

I had hoped to get a set of milestone cards for my baby shower, but I didn’t so I figured I would just get them after Aiden was born. That was a mistake. We were so overwhelmed those first few months, that I just didn’t get them and then by the time I thought about it, I realized how many milestones I had missed. That’s why I was really excited to find Milestone World which offers more than just newborn/first-year milestone cards.

I love the Milestone Mini Cards because they are completely customizable. I can write the typical milestones like first holidays or developmental milestones like Aiden’s first Thanksgiving and when he started standing on his own. But I can also write first words, phrases and silly things Aiden does like when he woke up one day, pointed up to the fan and confidently said “cat”. Even when we were taking pictures he looked out the window and said “who dat” so we wrote that one down too! Once Aiden has completed a milestone I like to take a picture and then add the card to a shadow box that I will hang up in his room later.

In addition to the Original Baby Cards for baby’s first year and the Milestone Mini Cards, they also have Pregnancy and First Weeks which I plan to get for my next pregnancy, The Original Activity Cards, and Toddler Cards for babies aged 1-4 (which I have added to Aiden’s Christmas list!) They also have complimentary products like Turn Wheel Photo Cards and a Baby’s First Photo Album.

The other thing I love about Milestone World is that they offer free printables. They release them for holidays and seasonal things. They also have free printable cards for premature babies for eight milestones associated with premature babies. The story behind those printables is actually very special. You can tell this is a company that cares about helping parents capture and remember all the special moments in a child’s life.

I just love the look of Milestone Cards when people use them in their Instagram/Facebook photos.  The designs are beautiful, bright, and clear.   It really makes capturing the moments easy without having to use photo editing software or other design products.

About Melissa

Hi, I’m Melissa! I am a mama to my baby Aiden Milo (born November 2015), and a police wife to my husband Dan. I started this blog because, after having Aiden, I quickly learned that exhaustion and baby brain causes you to forget some of the er-lovely (sometimes horrible and sometimes wonderful) details related to the first several months of raising a baby. Considering we may have more kids in the future, I want to document everything we do, so we remember what worked the first time around, and hopefully help other first time mamas along the way!

This is such a great idea! I wish I would have known about this earlier!

I agree! We didn’t get them soon enough. For my next one I want to get the full new baby set.

  • Meredith Overbeek

These are such a great idea! I haven’t documented NEARLY as much as I should have with my boys, especially the second one :/ This would certainly make things easier!

It’s so hard! I think these cards help because it’s not as much effort.

  • Ashley Freligh

    What a fun idea!

    • Melissa

Thank you Ashley! We love them for keeping track of milestones.

  • Leighann Hall

So fun! I wish I had used cards like this from the beginning!

    • Melissa

Me too! Now we know for next time.

  • I so wish I had these with my first! I dont remember when ANYTHING happened with him! ha!

    • Melissa

I know it’s crazy how everything starts to mesh together!

I wish I had known about these cards. My little one will be 2 next week and you always think you won’t forget something…but I do. She is such a joy (and occasional aggravation.) Thanks for you post! I’ll check this out!

Wow! What a great idea! This is the first I’m hearing about these wonderful cards, but these would make wonderful baby shower gifts!

These are very neat. My daughter was born in July of 2015 and we documented each milestone for the first year, but we didn’t have these nifty cards. Thanks for sharing!

    I love this idea!

Those memory cards are super! I have never seen them before. I live in Finland and we definitely don’t have those in here. Thank you for sharing!

I wish I had these when my little guy was younger! I remember a lot of his milestones but I don’t remember the date. 🙁 I’ll have to check them out if we ever have another.

Oh my gosh, what a cute idea! I am an old-school scrapbooker, but lately I’ve fallen so behind and I’m freaking out because I can’t remember when anything happened! Ahh!! These would have been perfect for me!
